How Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a secret date night in Australia after sneaking away from their royal tour
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry managed to sneak away for a secret date night during their action-packed Australian tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Australia and New Zealand for 16 days, and the busy trip included 14 flights and 26 official engagements and stops in Fiji and Tonga.

The couple also announced they were expecting a baby at the start of the tour, and Meghan had to do the whole schedule when she was around 12 weeks pregnant.
Despite their hectic timetable, the loved-up couple did manage to squeeze in a night off and had a “completely secret night”.
They enjoyed a luxury five-course dinner cooked by a private chef with Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney and her husband Ben.
Details of the swanky date night were revealed in royal biography Finding Freedom, by journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.

They wrote: “In Sydney to take on engagements and host the fourth Invictus Games, Harry and Meghan managed to sneak out for an evening off with Jessica and Ben Mulroney, the latter of whom was covering the Games for Canada’s CTV network.
“A real estate billionaire loaned them his home for an intimate and completely secret evening with a five-course meal prepared for a private chef.”
And the couple also had a romantic night together in Fiji at the luxurious Vatuvara Private Island resort, which is on Kaibu Island.

The breathtaking resort has three secluded villas; each with its own beach, infinity pool and personal masseuse.
During their stay, Meghan and Harry may have tried their hand at fishing, diving, snorkelling, gold and yoga, which are all on offer at the resort.
Alternatively, they may have travelled to a nearby uninhabited palm-fringed island for a champagne picnic.

Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya confirmed the royal couple spent the night at the stunning resort during their tour.
Speaking about their visit to Fiji, he said: “We are proud to host them. This is a worldwide event so it is tremendous for us.
“They are a couple with global appeal to everyone.”
