However, royal expert Camilla Tominey has said that the chances of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle making the trip from LA to Scotland with baby Archie to visit their family are slim.

Writing for The Telegraph, the expert said: “Some are beginning to question when – or indeed if – the Queen and Prince Philip will see Archie, their youngest great-grandchild, again.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and the Cambridge family are reportedly going to pay The Queen a visit at Balmoral for one weekend next month.

Family gatherings in Balmoral is a yearly tradition for the Royals - although this could be the second year in a row Meghan and Prince Harry have missed it.

A spokesperson for the couple said they were “too busy” to visit in 2019 and that Archie was “too young” - despite their separate trips to Ibiza and France that summer.

The couple’s decision not to visit Balmoral reportedly left The Queen “hurt and disappointed” last year.

What’s more, the biography Finding Freedom - which attempted to shed light on Megxit - reportedly sent shockwaves through the Royal Family when it was serialised in The Times this weekend.

Earlier today, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess face permanent exile from the Royal Family after a “hurtful” book revealed the extent of their bitter rift with The Firm.

Sources told the Daily Mail they have “torpedoed” any chance of the Queen and senior royals helping them create a new position.
