PRINCE Harry and Prince William had a furious “showdown” over Meghan Markle’s Vogue issue which prompted an “even deeper rift”, a sensational new biography has claimed.
In his new book Battle of the Brothers, royal author Robert Lacey - who is an advisor on Netflix’s The Crown - examines Prince Harry and Prince William‘s relationship in the months leading up to Megxit.

According to the Mirror, Meghan Markle suggested being a guest editor for the fashion bible’s September issue after she was approached to star on the cover.
The Duchess selected 15 women from around the world to feature on her “Forces for Change” front page - including climate change activist Greta Thunberg, New Zealand PM Jacinda Arden and body positivity campaigner and actress Jameela Jamil.
The explosive new biography claims Meghan’s “woke” Vogue issue didn’t go down well with the Royal Family - who are supposed to remain politically neutral.
However, Robert Lacey claims Prince William did try and talk to his brother about Meghan’s issue of Vogue - but it resulted in a furious “showdown”.
The author says it resulted in “another classic Harry explosion, followed by a further, even deeper rift.”
Off the back of the argument, the expert claims Meghan and Harry decided not to join the rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral that summer.
Earlier this year, the authors of biography Finding Freedom claimed that “incredibly sensitive” Prince Harry branded William a “snob” for warning him to be careful about “this girl” Meghan.
Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, who had access to Harry and Meghan’s close pals, claim Harry was enraged when William told him not to rush the relationship when he started talking about marriage after a few months of dating.
